BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Bulletin Secretary:

Your assistance with promoting this year’s Adventist World Radio Offering is truly appreciated. Please insert the following announcements in your church bulletin for two Sabbaths, March 1 & 8.

NEXT SABBATH — Adventist World Radio Offering — March 8:

Lejoby was a notorious bandit in Madagascar who lived deep inside a cave. One night, after his gang raided a village, he unknowingly stole an AWR solar-powered “Godpod” device that contained the Bible and other spiritual materials in his language. He thought it was a radio and was shocked to get “reception” inside the cave. But what happened next was even more surprising . . .

Don’t miss this and many other incredible stories next week during Adventist World Radio’s annual offering on March 8. (To watch inspiring videos of stories like this, visit awr.org/videos.) Thank you for planning to support of Adventist World Radio next Sabbath.

Please use the following announcement in your Church Bulletin on March 8

Today’s offering is for Adventist World Radio: From thousands of people being baptized in Papua New Guinea last year . . . to hundreds of thousands of people reached at the Paris Olympics . . . to the queen of Palau holding evangelistic meetings, you can’t miss today’s thrilling updates during the Adventist World Radio Annual Offering. God is using AWR’s many broadcasts and platforms to reach people previously deemed “impossible to reach.” Today we invite you to partner with AWR in this vital ministry. Thank you.

PULPIT ANNOUNCEMENT

Please read the following pulpit appeal to the congregation before collecting the church service offering on Sabbath, March 8.

Today’s offering is for Adventist World Radio. AWR uses many forms of technology to reach people where they are, in their local dialect. From AWR’s shortwave towers in Guam to 2,000 radio stations around the world, these messages are broadcasting in more than 130 languages every day. And for those who aren’t in range of a radio station, AWR’s YouTube videos, ministry app and tracts are ministering to millions.

In addition, solar-powered Godpods are reaching everyone from prisoners to shepherds! And the ministry’s semi-truck in Ukraine is both meeting needs in the community and broadcasting Bible-based messages of hope wherever it goes.

In 2023 and 2024, the ministry joined with the General Conference’s “Total Member Involvement” initiative to hold more than 1,500 meetings across 40+ countries during Christ for Europe. From the UK to Italy to Ukraine, people made decisions for baptism. Shortly after these events, meetings in Zambia, Rwanda and Papua New Guinea saw record crowds and baptisms.

God predicted that one day we would be “utterly amazed” (Habakkuk 1:5, NIV) at what He would do—and we are! Thank you for your support of Adventist World Radio today.
